Ajman Transport Authority has announced the launch of a new taxi booking service in the emirate through the “Yango” app, allowing users to easily book and track taxis in Ajman. This step aligns with the Ajman Government’s vision to advance digital transformation and implement smart city concepts.

The partnership with Yango provides a digital platform for booking taxis, offering users a seamless and secure mobility experience. The app allows real-time vehicle tracking, booking detail review, and cashless payment options.

Engineer Sami Ali Al Jallaf, Executive Director of the Public Transport and Licensing Agency, stated that the launch of this service through the Yango app supports the Authority’s efforts to implement smart city strategies and provide innovative, sustainable transport solutions that meet the evolving needs of the community. He emphasized the Authority’s commitment to strengthening partnerships with the private sector and empowering transport service providers to deliver creative solutions within the emirate.

He added that this initiative is part of a broader cooperation agreement with Yango, which includes the operation of smart taxis integrated into the Authority’s digital systems in accordance with the highest standards. The initiative aims to enhance customer experience, improve responsiveness, and contribute to a better quality of life. He further affirmed that the Authority will continue to develop electronic booking channels for taxis, and the activation of the Yango app supports the Integrated Transport Platform project in Ajman, reflecting the Authority’s commitment to offering smart and inclusive services for all members of society.
